What is IFS™-Informed Coaching?
A compassionate path to clarity, inner trust, and aligned change.
➺ Are you starting something new, shifting careers, or quietly sensing the old way no longer fits?
➺ Are you ready to build a relationship with your inner world—one rooted in curiosity, rather than struggle?
➺ Ready to stop fighting your inner voices, and start listening and collaborating with them—even the ones you’ve tried to ignore?
➺ To move forward in your life without abandoning the parts of you that are scared, unsure, or protective?
IFS-Informed Coaching invites you to meet your inner voices not as obstacles, but as parts of you—each with a purpose, a history, and a role in your story.
Whether you’re navigating a career transition, creative pivot, or personal crossroads, this approach helps you pause, turn inward, and hear what’s truly going on inside.
IFS stands for Internal Family Systems, a model developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz. It recognizes that we’re all made up of “parts”—some that strive, some that worry, some that want to hide, and others that long for change. These parts aren’t problems to fix—they’re protectors, each with a history, perspective, and care.
At the center of it all is Self—your calm, curious, wise awareness that knows how to lead with compassion.
How I Use IFS™ in Coaching
As an IFS-informed coach, I don’t interpret or analyze your inner system. I walk beside you as you get to know your inner landscape for yourself.
We might gently notice which part is speaking the loudest—maybe the achiever, the skeptic, the critic, or the one who’s afraid to hope. Rather than override it, we’ll slow down and ask: What does this part want you to know? What is it trying to protect?
You don’t need any prior experience with IFS. I’ll guide you with respectful prompts tailored to your journey, and together we’ll follow what arises. Sometimes we’ll use imagery or metaphor. Other times, stillness will lead the way.
While I hold the container, everything happens at your pace.
What clients often experience:
A quieter mind and stronger inner trust
Clearer connection to what really matters
A more respectful relationship with themselves
Movement that feels aligned—not forced
IFS-Informed Coaching is not therapy. We don’t unpack trauma or dwell in the past. Instead, we create a coaching space that honors your internal complexity while supporting meaningful, tangible shifts in your outer life.
This is about reclaiming your leadership—from the inside out.
